According to France 24, Israeli airstrikes led to the death of 11 people in southern Lebanon on Saturday, some of the most dangerous attacks since the agreements that took place in June which resulted in a reduction of clashes between Israel and Hezbollah. France 24 clarified that the Israeli military stated that these strikes were a response to an attack launched by Hezbollah elements on its forces in the south of the country, while Hezbollah announced it would “meet this attack with what it deserves”.
