ASAS PRESS

Editorial Policy

This page explains how content on Asas Press is produced and what we commit to our readers.

Sources and attribution

Every story on Asas Press is based on a previously published news source, which we name explicitly in the article with a link to it. We do not claim original field reporting or exclusive information, and the "News" section never adds a name, number or quote that is not in the source.

How articles are produced

We use AI tools to help draft stories in Arabic, translate them into English and suggest headlines and keywords, under strict rules: report the facts as the source states them, keep them clearly separate from analysis, and never invent details. We review content and correct errors when they are found.

News kept separate from analysis

Each article has two parts: "The News", limited to what the source reported, and "Analysis & Context", which gives general background on the wider topic. The analysis is interpretation, not new information about the event itself.

Corrections

If you find an error in any article, contact us through the Contact page with a link to it. We review every report and correct or remove the article where needed.

Independence and advertising

The site is funded by advertising. Advertisers have no influence over which stories we cover or how, and any paid content is clearly labelled as sponsored.
